BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student Union, THAT: SECTION 1: A sum of $250 shall be allocated from Executive Council Reserve to CoPIRG for the purpose of a Spring voter registration drive. This money will be made available through the UCSU Finance Director. SECTION 2: The $250 shall be spent in accordance with the itemized budget attached on the following page. SECTION 3: This bill shall become effective upon passage. Test File Booth. Due to changes in Colorado election law, you must be registered to vote in Colorado to sign a petition to place an issue on the November 2, 1982 ballot. Ballot initiative petitions this year include: severance tax, bottle bill, and the Rocky Flats conversion fund. All petition drives must be completed by June. Thus, if students wish to participate in the petition process they must be a registered voter in Colorado this semester. We have arranged all aspects for the voter registration drive, but need money for publicity.
