A BILL
Places a referendum question on the ballot to direct the UCSU
to have the Intercollegiate Athletic program of the University
of Colorado placed under the jurisdiction of the Boulder Campus
1. and removed from the jurisdiction of the Central Administration.
In that the students of the University of Colorado at Boulder
pay a disproportionate share of the cost for the intercollegiate
athletic program and in that this program is located at the
University of Colorado at Boulder, such a move will allow for the
creation of a student oversight committee to ensure that programs
are consistant with the desires of those who fund said endeavors.

BE IT ENACTED By the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

The Election Commission is hereby directed to place
the following referendum question on the ballot of
UCSU Election XV B to be held 12 and 13 November,
1981:
~·Should the University of Colorado Student Union
direct that the Intercollegiate Athletic program
of the University of Colorado be moved l t ,lud.t the
jurisdiction of the Central Administration to that
of the Boulder Campus in that the students at UCB
pay a disproportionate share of the costs and should
play a role in the management of these programs."
