A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS:

There is wide spread support of the equal rights amendment in
Colorado; and,

WHEREAS:

A constitutional admendment calling for equality of the
sexes is being introduced to the Congress of the U.S.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Executive Council of the University of
Colorado Student Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

UCSU shall support the equal rights amendment to the
Constitution of the United States.

SECTION 2:

The Pro-Tempore shall write members of the Colorado
delegation to Congress urging them to support and sponsor
the proposed amendment.

SECTION 3:

This resolution shall become effective upon passage.
