BILL SUMMARY

To establish the Rural Colorado Student Recognition
Award.

BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado
Student Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

UCSU shall establish a program to recognize excellence
in academic, athletic and/or public service on the part
of rural students from the rural areas of Colorado.

SECTION 2:

Each recipient shall receive a certificate recognizing
their excellence and their local newspaper shall be
notified of their selection.

SECTION 3:

The UCSU Executives and Executive Council shall select the
recipients.

SECTION 4:

Monies for this shall come from Executive Operations.

SECTION 5:

This bill shall become effective upon passage.
