BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student Union, THAT: SECTION 1: In an effort to stimulate interest in student groups, and with a desire to ensure adequate funding for student groups through the positive check-off at Spring 1983 preregistration, the UCSU will allocate $2,000 (two thousand dollars) for a campaign to promote the positive check-off. SECTION 2: This money will come from the SOC Reserve with $1,000 to be utilized for newspaper advertising and the remaining $1,000 to be utilized for posters and a mailing to all fee-paying students. Campus mail will be utilized for all residents on campus. SECTION 3: To form a committee consisting of the following: SOC Chair, Public Relations Director, one Representative-at-Large, & three students-at-large who are members of an SOC funded organization; to oversee the appropriated funding.
