A BILL
BILL SUMMARY

To amend the Standing Rules of the UCSU Executive Council to
institute a reporting system regarding Joint Boards.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

The Standing Rules of the UCSU Executive Council shall be
amended in Article III, Section 1 and the following subsections shall be added:
"III.

SECTION 2:

Legislation

Reports
A.
Each Joint Board shall submit in writing (once
per month) a report to the Executive Council.
The report shall be presented to Council by the
Representative-at-Large on that Board unless
the Joint Board chooses another Speaker.

Each Joint Board is responsible for
establishing the reporting schedule and to
inform the Pro-Tempore at the beginning
of each semester.
B.
All reports shall include a record of attendance, votes, motions and ratifications. It
may further include proposals, agendas, minutes
discussion."

The Standing Rules shall be amended upon passage.
