BILL SUMMARY
This bill establishes a temporary Executive Council Service Committee for
UCSU Services. A subsequent bill will be introduced to place a constitutional
amendment on the Spring ballot which will add a Service Board to the Joint
Board system.

BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:

SECTION 1:

A temporary Executive Council Service Committee shall be
established to advise certain UCSU Services on policy matters.

SECTION 2:

This Committee shall advise the following services on policy
matters:
Legal Services
Off-Campus Housing
Clearing House
Employment Agency
Any area not covered by a Joint Board

SECTION 3:

The Committee shall consist of seven (7) students to be selected
as follows:
-3 by the Executive Council Appointments Committee
subject to ratification by Executive Council
-3 by the UCSU Executives
-1 member of Executive Council

SECTION 4:

This bill shall take effect upon passage.
