BILL SUMMARY
To appropriate supplemental funds from Executive Council Reserve
for the position of Parliamentarian.

BILL HISTORY
Fiscal year '82 has budgeted $840 for this position. To date only $89 is left.
Finance Board on February 12th approved an increase for the position for
Fiscal '83 which would put the position on a salary which is 2/3 of that
of the President Pro-Tempore. This translates to $1000 for· the year and is
enough to allow the Parliamentarian five to 10 hours per week in addition
to the hours seated before Council weekly. The amount paid per pay period is
$38.46. According to the Student Finance Office, 10 more pay periods remain ·
for Fiscal Year '82.

BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:

SECTION 1:

$384.60 will be allocated from Executive Council Reserve
to supplement the position of Parliamentarian for the
remainder of Fiscal Year '82.

SECTION 2:

This bill becomes effective upon passage.
