BILL SUMMARY
Allocates $761 to cover the costs of a conference in Jacksonville, Fla.
BILL HISTORY
The Unversity of Colorado Student Union has one of the most active safety
and victim assistance programs in the country. It would benefit greatly from
an exchange of information with other successful operations. Such an
exchange will take place at a conference to be held in September 6-9 in
Jacksonville, Florida.

BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

One delegate, selected by the Executives, will be sent to
Jacksonville, Florida to attend the Ninth Annual North American
Victim Assistance Conference, sponsored by the National
Organization for Victim Assistance.

SECTION 2:

A break down of the expected costs of the trip is attached.

SECTION 3:

This money shall come from Central Reserve.

SECTION 4:

The delegate shall provide a report to UCSU on the activities
at the conference and shall provide seminars to any interested
students on the topics discussed at the conference.

SECTION 4:

This legislation shall take effect upon passage.
