BILL SUMMARY

To assist in the funding of the Homecoming Bonfire
Firework's Show and Benefit Dane for United Way in the amount
of $2,000.00. This amount will be matched by SOAR and the
Athletic Department. The events are scheduled for Friday night,
October 28, 1983 at the Events Center and the parking lot to the
north (S Lot).
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student

Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

UCSU shall fund $2,000 for purposes of covering expenses
in the areas of rent, media, fireworks, band, etc.

SECTION 2:

UCSU shall fund this money out of UCSU fund balance.

SECTION 3:

None of the UCSU money shall go toward the United Way charity
donation which would violate state legislative restrictions.

SECTION 4:

This legislation takes effect upon passage.
