BILL SUMMARY
Appropriates funding for a Student Safety Coordinator •
BILL HISTORY
Executive Council appropriated funds for a Student Safety Coordinator
on a provisional basis in January. This bill continues funding for this
position on a permanent basis.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

The Executive Council shall appropriate $150 per month ($1800
for a 12-month period) for the position of Student Safety
Coordinator. This money shall come from Central
Reserve with the CU Police Department paying an additional'
150 per month.

SECTION 2:

The duties of the Student Safety Coordinator shall consist
of those on the attached job description.

SECTION 3:

The Coordinator will be appointed by the Executives after
consultation with the CUPD, subject to the ratification of the
Executive Council.

SECTION 4:

This position will be included in the next budget cycle (84-85)
as a permanent staff position.

SECTION 5:

Payment of the salary shall begin on June 15, 1983.

SECTION 6:

This bill shall take effect upon passage of this bill.
