BILL SUMMARY
Allocates $1724 (includes ASR) for a Night Ride driver and gasoline
expenses for the Night Ride service.
BILL HISTORY
Night Ride has been providing a service vital to student safety for the
past several semesters. This bill provides funding for both gas and
weekend drivers for 12 weeks, beginning June 12, until Clearing House
assumes financial responsibility.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:

SECTION · !:

The Executive Council shall allocate $925 from Central
Reserve to cover gasoline expenses for the duration of
Executive Council's responsibility for the Night Ride service.

SECTION 2:

The Executive Council shall allocate $720 (also from
Central Reserve) to pay for the services of the weekend driver at
$5.00 per hour for the duration of Executive Council's
responsibility for the Night Ride service.

SECTION·-3:

The salary for the Night Ride driver shall begin on June 12th.

SECTION 4:

This bill shall take effect upon passage.
