BILL SUMMARY
Provides for an ad hoc Publicity Committee.

BILL HISTORY
It is generally acknowledged that the University of Colorado Student
Union suffers from a lack of communication with the average union
member, or student. This is reflected by low voter turnout and a Icick
of member participation in various UCSU activities, campgains,
services, etc A means must be found, whether in publication form or
otherwise, to alleviate this problem. The ad hoc publicity committee
wold study this problem and recommend the proper action(s) to be
taken.

BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

Ad ad hoc Publicity Committee will be formed by
Executive Council for the purpose of furthering UCSU outreach
efforts.

SECTION 2:

The Publicity Committee will consist of five Executive
Council Representatives to be chosen by Executive Council as a
whole, the UCSU Public Relations Director and three students for
the general UCSU membership, to be chosen by the Publicity
Committee.

SECTION 3:

The Publicity Committee will study the problems and possible
solutions and report back to Executive Council no later than
September lst 1983.
