A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS:

The Representative Council supports the effort of El Diario
to bring to the attention of the Executive Council a
possible bribe within the room allocation process; and,

WHEREAS:

We, however, feel this was not a motivating factor in the
UMC Board decision to move El Diario from their traditional
room.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Executive Council of the University of
Colorado Student Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

We urge El Diario to attempt to moderate possible
conflict in advance by maintaining communication with the Board.

SECTION 2:

We further remind El Diario that they have the ·option of
re-applying to the UMC Board in October.
