A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS:

The Executive Council of UCSU supports the Election
Committee in its efforts to rewrite the present UCSU Election
Code; and,

WHEREAS:

Since past elections have had their validity questioned
and the creditablity of UCSU has fallen; and,

WHEREAS:

A rewrite of the current election code is required.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Executive Council of the University of
Colorado Student Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

The Election Committee will use and consider input from
all interested persons in their rewrite of the Election Code.

SECTION 2:

The Election Committee will use and consider the Election
Codes from the State of Colorado, Boulder County and other
schools. The Election Committee will use the law of the Regents
in their rewrite.

SECTION 3:

All input from interested parties will be given or heard
by the Committee by July 15, 1983.

SECTION 4:

The final draft of the Election Code will be submitted
September 1, 1983, to the Executive Council.

SECTION 5:

This resolution will take effect upon passage ..
