A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS:

The legislative branch, as defined by the UCSU Constitution
has been entrusted by the members of the association with the
responsible administration of the student fee budget; and,

WHEREAS:

Proper management of student fee monies requires an adequate
understanding of the UCSU Student Fee Package and the
budgeting process from which it is derived; and,

WHEREAS:

The members of Executive Council have the final
responsibility for approval and adoption of the Student Fee
Package.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Executive Council of the University of
Colorado .Student Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

All members of of the UCSU government will familiarize
themselves with the final form of the Student Fee Package as
approved by the Board of Regents, so that they may ask relevant
and informed questions during the presentation of all matters
having budgetary importance.

SECTION 2:

An optional test, the form and content of which
will be determined by the Finance Director, will be administered
to the members of the UCSU government.

SECTION 3:

The test will be administered by the Finance Director or
his/her appointed representative, and at such a time and
frequency as to maximize the benefit of this resolution.

SECTION 4:

The names of the persons passing this test will be
posted in such a place as to provide easy and obvious access to all
members of UCSU.
