A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS:

Every student at the University of Colorado is a member
of the Student Union; and,

WHEREAS:

As members of the Union we are deeply affected by the
untimely death of Journalism student Sidney Wells; and,

WHEREAS:

We, the Executive Council of the UCSU student body have
the governing responsibility of the students of the University, and
duly represent the wishes of the students in such sad matters.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Executive Council of the University of
Colorado Student Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

The President Pro-Tempore of the Executive Council will write
a letter expressing the condolences of the Council and the student
body to the family of Sidney Wells.

SECTION 2:

A letter from the Journalism School Student Council will
also be written by the Journalism Co-Representatives and if
possible signed by both the Journalism School Representatives and
the Journalism President.
