A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS: The University of Colorado Student Union is attempting to improve
its image on campus, and,
WHEREAS: All persons applying for positions within UCSU should be recognized
whether they receive and appointment or not, and ,
WHEREAS: All applicants should be encouraged to continue their interest in
UCSU and to apply for future poisitions that become vacant.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Executive Council of the University of
Colorado Student Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

The President Pro-Tempore of the Executive Council shall
instruct each Joint Board chairman to prepare two separate lists
of names each time applications are accepted and interviews are
held:
1st list -

Positions filled by the Joint Board. A letter of
congradulations shall go to these applicants.

2nd list - Persons interviewed by the Joint Board, not receiving
a position on that board. A letter thanking them for their
continued interest in UCSU shall be forwarded to them. Letters
need not be sent to any applicants that are referred to the
Appointments Committee for the purpose of an interview.
These lists shall be given to the Joint Board Secretary with the
proper instructions. The Joint Board Secretary will get the
letters out.

SECTION 2:

It will be the responsibility of the chair of the Appointments
Committee to follow the same procedure for all applicants
interviewed. The chair of Appointments Committee shall give the
lists of names to the Executive Council Secretary with the proper
instructions.

SECTION 3:

It will be the responsibility of the Executive(s) to follow the
same procedure for all applicants they interview. She shall give
the names and instructions to the Executive Secretary.
