BILL SUMMARY

Directs the University of Colorado Student Federal Credit Union to draft a letter
of explanation to the use of an advertisement at the polling stations on the credit
union surveys.
Also directs the Election Commissioner to explain why he allowed the
advertisement to be distributed at the polling stations and why there was a credit
union survey distributed at the polling stations during the Spring 1985 UCSU
Elections.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

A representative of the Board of Directors of the University of
Colorado Student Federal Credit Union and the UCSU Election
Commissioner shall come to the May 2nd Executive Council
meeting to orally explain the use of the advertisement on the
surveys distributed during the Spring 1985 elections.

SECTION 2:

Following the meeting of May 2, 1985, the Board of Directors of
the University of Colorado Student Federal Credit Union is hereby
directed to write a letter to the editors of both the CU Campus
Press and the Colorado Daily explaining why an advertisement
was used on the Credit Union Surveys.

SECTION 3:

This legislation shall take effect upon passage.
