Objectives of this conference are provision of currrent information concerning AIDS, discussion of campus response to AIDS including educa tiona! strategies and institutional guidelines, and consideration of common problems and barriers to addressing AIDS on college campuses. The conference is specifically designed toward understanding and education about the AIDS problem on college campuses. Workshops include "How to organize student involvement," "Campus diversity and AIDS," and "Designing Campus AIDS education programs." The money provided by UCSU will fund the transportation and participation costs of Beth Martin, a CU student and Health Board member, to the conference. In return, Martin will work with another student who will attend to set up campus wide education and information programs. BILL SUMMARY This Bill allocates $373 + GAR to fund transportation and room and board costs for one student to attend the "AIDS and the College Campus" Conference. This Bill is Special Order.
