USSA has also been involved with the !x·n.l ~ion of the National Higher Education Awareness Week, a large amount of ~£l11.sti ·le lobbying for higher education, exploring the university's role in society, ......~ h.1s authored a provision that was added to the Higher Education u th~riza tion Act. This provision called for Pell grants for half-time students ha·1e been increasingly pushed into the job market due to lack of financial aid. T~ USSA continues to work towards making higher education a right for all !.1 ~ ts and UCSU should take advantage of this rare opportunity to have three "'U ~rd representatives present to help plan for the future of this nation's Hudfo.nu.
