A BILL
BILL HISTORY

One of the most powerful and least exercised rights of the American public is the
right to vote. The student vote in this country can cause tremendous progress in
the areas of Education funding and militarization of our campuses. In order to
make effective change we the students must exercise our rights. We must also go
one step beyond voting and assist our fellow students in registering. This Monday
thru September the Boulder Country clerk will be in the loggia registering students
to vote.
BILL SUMMARY

This bill not to exceed $455.20 plus GAR shall go toward advertising the student
voter registration.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:

SECTION 1:

An amount not to exceed $455.20 + GAR shall be allocated from
Central Reserve to fund advertising for voter registration.

SECTION 2:

This bill takes effect upon passage.
