CUMUN is an organization that was founded with the intention of getting students involved in model United Nations. The purpose of the National Collegiate Security Conference being held Oct. 22-25 in Arlington VA is to expose students from across the country to the difficulties involved in world crisis management. Simulating the world's regional summit meetings, the ·NCSC attempts to intimately involve movitivated students in the workings of conflict resolution and debate. This conference provides a unique opportunity for University of Colorado students to display their talents as well as giving each delegate invaluable experience in debate technique and world issues. Each delegate from the University will be assigned a country that they must represent in a regional summit.
