BILL HISTORY
On November 3rd at 7:00 p.m. in Macky Auditorium an independent group of
students is sponsoring noted entrepreneur Jack Deboer to speak here at C.U.
Deboer is the chairman of the board and CEO of Residence Inns, a company he
founded. He is also the second biggest real estate developer of family housing in
the U.S. He is coming to speak about entrepreneurship and real estate
development. Mr. Deboer is flying out at his own expense and speaking for free.
Dean Johnson of the Business School is funding a reception and dinner for Mr.
Deboer and KBCO is doing public service announcements for the event.
BILL SUMMARY
This bill asks for $266.40 plus GAR for advertising and production expenses for the
Deboer presentation.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union THAT:

SECTION 1:

An amount not to exceed $266.40 plus GAR will be allocated
from Central Reserve.

SECTION 2:

Within three weeks a written report of the event shall be
submitted to the President Pro-Tempore and kept on file for
access.

SECTION 3:

This bill takes effect upon passage.
