BILL HISTORY

On September 13th and 14th the students of C.U. will have the unique opportunity
of seeing Judy Gorman-Jacobs in concert and attend her workshop.
Gorman-Jacobs, a New York based folk singer-songwriter will present her workshop
and concert free to the public. Her purpose is to help spread the word about
women's musical achievements.
BILL SUMMARY
This bill asks for $558.80 plus G.A.R. to cover costs of advertising, lighting and
equipment rental for the Judy Gorman-Jacobs concert/workshop.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

An amount not to exceed $558.80 plus GAR will be allocated
from Central Reserve to pay for advertising, lighting and
equipment for the Judy Gorman-Jacobs concert/workshop.

SECTION 2:

All student groups who receive special event funding shall
submit a written report to be turned in to the Pro-Tempore
and kept on file for access.
The Report shall include the following: 1) General overview
of the events and the space of that event, 2) attendance of
all phases of the event, 3) did the group sponsoring the event
feel they accomplished their goals set forth prior to the event
4) a detailed account of expenditures.
This report shall be submitted within 30 days of the end of the
event. Failure to do so may jeopardize future funding from
UCSU Executive Council.

SECTION 3:

This bill, being special order, takes effect upon passage.
