BILL HISTORY

The Health Board will hold its third annual 5k Campus Classic on Saturday, October
2nd at 9:00am. This is a 5-k race open to both students and community members.
The purpose of this race is to promote general good health and physical fitness. In
addition, the Health Board hopes to increase student awareness of the Board as a
active and accessible organization. Registration for the race will take place Sept.
26 -30th in the UMC loggia. The registration fee for the race will be $8.00 for
students and $10.00 for non-students which will include a Campus Classic t-shirt.
We have received sponsorships from a number of community businesses and campus
organizations, including, Coors, the Pulse, Byerlee Inc., Hardee's, KUCB, the
Colorado Daily, the Campus Press, Gart Brothers, AVIA, LaPeep, and Pridipides.
Due to the strong support from the community and the university, we are confident
that this year's event will attract a large number of participants.
BILL SUMMARY

This bill allocates .$148.50 +GAR to the Student Health Board for the 3rd annual 5k
Campus Classic.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Councifof the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:

SECTION 1:

An amount not to exceed $148.50 + GAR will be allocated
from Central Reserve to fund the Third Annual 5k Campus
Classic. Should any profit be incurred from the race, the
money will be earmarked and used for next year's race.

SECTION 2:

A written report will be submitted pursuant to 24 ECB /14.

SECTION 3:

This bill will take effect upon passage.
