In order to avoid further confusion of rules, and to ensure that office-holding
members of UCSU can indeed serve the best interest of students (by actually
taking classes), this constitutional change would clearly define "student" under the
heading of UCSU.
BILL SUMMARY
In order to change the Constitution, a plebicite must occur.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

The following question shall be place on the Fall 1988 UCSU
election ballot:
"Do you approve of the following UCSU Constitutional change:
Article I
Section B: to read
"Membership of this association shall consist of all
student registered for at least 6 credit hours and
paying full student fees at the University of
Colorado, Boulder?
Yes
No"

SECTION 2:

This well written legislation takes effect upon passage.
