BILL HISTORY
In order to provide consistency in UCSU documents it is necessary to amend the
Student Fee Guidelines (revised 4/28/88). This ammendment must be made in order
to include gender .as one of the characteristics that cannot be discriminated against
when using student fees.
BILL SUMMARY
The Student Fee Guidelines (revised 4/28/88) shall be amended under Section 2.0
Principles and General Policies.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union; THAT:
SECTION 1:

SECTION 2:

The Student Fee Guidelines (revised 4/28/88) shall be am.ended
under Section 2.0 Principles and General Policies. Section
2.3.1 Inappropriate Uses of Student Fees, Discrimination shall
read as follows: "2.3.1 The fees may not be used in support of
any groups which systematically exclude from participation
any student on the basis of religion, race, ethnicity,
nationality, creed, sexual preference,marital status, age, sex,
and/ or physical disabill ty ."
· This bill shall take effect immediately upon passage.
