Owens A BILL BILL HISTORY The University of Colorado's Black Student Alliance is currently seeking funding to complete a project which began during the latter part of the spring semester. This project entails the painting of a mural in the Black Student Alliance office, here in the UMC. The BSA feels that this will add a positive aspect to our office. The mural presen ts a historical and futuristic representation of Blacks. The mural will cover the two large walls in our office. The mural depicts our Mother land - Africa -and its people, Jamaica, and extends to the African-American lifestyles of the United States. It also depicts our struggles in all lands; our leaders; and optimistic hopes for the future. BILL SUMMARY This bill shall allocate from the Central Reserve account an amount not to exc $500.00 plus GAR in order to partially fund the costs of the mural.
