BILL HISTORY
This is a propasal requesting funds concerning Na tiona! Leadership Seminar for the
Student group AIESEC -Colorado. The National Leadership Seminar (NLS) is an
annual event that AIESEC-U.S. holds for the purpose of training, motivating and
educating local committee members. The entire national staff hosts a delegation
of 160 students which is comprised of two representatives from each local
committee (generally members who have leadership potential and or have a desire
to serve AIESEC on a region.al or national level) as well as international delegates.
BILL SUMMARY
The event this year will take place in Pawling, New York, August 14-21. The
delegate fee will be approximately $325 per person (not including airfare). This
event is unique in that it is the only event that assembles the leaders of AIESECU.S. membership for an intensive 6 days: 6 days that have the potential of making
a lasting impact on the dedication and involvement of those people who attend.
For AIESEC-Colorado NLS is an instrumental program that allows us to maintain
our national reputation as well as to exhibit the type of students that are enrolled
in the College of Business at the University of Colorado.
BE IT ENACTED by the Executive Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:
We are requesting the amount needed to cover 2 R/T Air
tickets in the amount of $600 plus the 4.48 GAR ($26.88) coming to a
total of $626.88.
SECTION 2:

A written report shall be submitted pursuant to 24 ECB /14.

SECTION 3:

This bill takes effect upon passage.
