UCSU executive staff would like to, in turn, be better informed of the activities of the members of legislative council by receiving monthly reports from each voting team or representative. Reports will be due the Tuesday before the first Thursday of the month, so that they may be included in Thursday's Legislative Council agenda. These reports shall include office hours per week for past I+ weeks, monthly joint board update, and summary of current activities being performed. BILL SUMMARY This bill would increase communication between the Executive and the Legislative branches of government. BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student Union, THAT: SECTION 1: SECTION 2: Members of the UCSU Legislative Council shall be required to submit monthy reports for inclusion in the UCSU Legislative Council agenda packet. These reports shall be due in completion at noon on the Tuesday before the 1st Thursday of each month. SECTION 3: These reports shall be submitted to the Legislative Council Secretary at the designated time. SECTION 1+: For Reps-at-Large, these reports shall include an update of courrent work and an update of the joint board proceedings for month. update of the joint board proceedings for the month.
