Recycling A BILL Felicia Clark Robert Ervais Julie O'Brian Dawn Massop Tim Kauffman Felicia Clark Jack DeBell BILL HISTORY C.U. has one of the lar-sest recycling programs in the country. UCSU Legislative Council has informally supported recycling in the past, however, there is a need for a formal policy in order to further reduce the waste of recyclable materials. They will provide UCSU with containers at no cost to us, upon request. BILL SUMMARY The C.U. recycling program suggests that special efforts be made to recycle materials used during the UCSU Legislative Council meetings. BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student Union, THAT: SECTION 1: Each member of council will be responsible for collecting all recy lable and reusable i terns &. the VPPT shall serve in the oversight. SECTION 2: Each recyclable i tern will be deposited in its proper recycling bin, by the VPPT and reusable items will be brought back to the next meeting ready to use.
