BILL HISTORY
Arts & Sciences Student Government will be hosting its "Third Annual Arts and
Sciences Career Confe:ence" on January 31st and February 1st. The event will be
held in the UMC and is open to everyone. It has been very successful in the past,
with attendance last year exceeding 500 students, more than three times the
previous years attendance; this year we hope to more than doulble the figure. The
purpose of the conference is to educate students about career opportunities and
posssibilities for people studying the Arts and Sciences. The event will bring CU
alumni to offer their unique perspectives of their individual fields.
BILL SUMMARY
This bill allocates $69 3.05 + GAR from Central Reserve to the Third Annual Arts
and Sciences Career Conference for advertising in the Colorado Daily.
BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

An amount not to exceed $693.05 + GAR be allocated to the
Third Annual Arts and Sciences Career Conference to be held
January 31st and February 1st, 198 9.

SECTION 2:

A written report will be submitted pursuant to 24 ECB liLt.

SECTION 3:

This bill takes effect upon passage.
