BILL HISTORY
Jim Fay is an educational consultant and expert at parenting. His books and talks
are recognized at both the national and international level. He is President of
School Consultant Services, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer for the Cline/Fay
lnsti tute Inc.
On Wednesday April 19, 1989, Mr. Fay will present a lecture on Child Management.
The topics addressed will include issues relate-d to both the classroom and home
environment. This lecture will be especially beneficial to students in the Education
School and Non-Tradi tiona! Students. In addition, faculty members from this
campus and the community schhools will be encouraged to attend.
The Glenn Miller Ballroom · has been reserved on April 19, 1989 from 7-9pm for the
presentation. This event will attract a diverse audience and is expected to be well
attended.
_ BILL SUMMARY
This bill provides funding of $616.65 + GAR from Central Reserve for a
presentation by Jim Fay on April 19, 1989 in the Glenn Miller Ballroom at 7pm.
BE IT EANACTED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

An amount not to exceed $616.45 +GAR shall be allocated
from Central Reserve to fund a talk by Jim Fay, April 19,
198 9, in the Glenn Miller Ballroom.

SECTION 2:

A written report will be submitted pursuant to 24 ECB 1/4.

SECTION 3:

This bill shall take effect upon passage.
