CSA has opened a state office in Denver and is currently engaged in organization building as well as legislative advocacy on financial aid and higher education funding. The referendum is to institutionalize CSA's funding under UCSU control. BILL SUMMARY This bill places the CSA funding question on the UCSU spring election ballot. BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student Uni~n, THAT: SECTION 1: The following question shall be placed on the ballot for the spring, 1989 UCSU elections. "Do you support UCSU's funding of the Colorado Student Association (CSA), a statewide student organization dedicated to advocating students interests in higher education A student fee of 37.5 cents per student per semester for a period of two years would be assessed.
