In order to qualify for funding and space a student group must be composed of a certain percentage of individuals who qualify as students. BILL SUMMARY This bill places a referendum question on the Spring 1989 Election Ballot regarding the definition of a student. BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student Union, THAT: SECTION 1: The following question shall be placed on the Spring 1989 UCSU election ballot: "Do you approve of the following UCSU Constitutional change?" Article VII Section D.l: to read "Student" shall be defined as any full mandatory fee-paying member of the University of Colorado Student Union enrolled in at least six credit hours. a. Enrolled graduate students must pay some mandatory fees. b. Enrolled graduate students are exempt from credit hour status.
