- ~ 30 LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL BILL /149 March 23, 1989 UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO STUDENT UNION Sponsored by: Tri-Executives Representatives-at-Large Authored by: UCSU Public Relations Director A BILL Tim Kauffman Susie Fairchild Dawn Massop Felicia Clark Karey Ullemeyer Julie O'Brian Kelvin McNeill BILL HISTORY The CU Students for Campus Unity was founded as a joint effort between the Black Student Alliance members, Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity members, CU student athletes, other campus minority students, and UCSU officials to address specific race-related concerns on the CU campus. The group is presently planning a campus-wide and community forum to be held on April 6, 1989 at 7:30pm (room to be announced). The forum will address, among other things, the treatment of student football players by local law enforcement officials, the Folsom Grill incident, and the treatment of minority issues by the media.
