Consequently, the beneficiaries of this legislation, who may wish to speak, must wait until late in the evening. Even though attendance at Legislative Council meetings by students-atlarge is encouraged, the students-at-large should not be required to stay long into the night or the next morning as do Legislative Council members. BILL SUMMARY This bill requires that Legislative Council's agendas be written with the needs of our fellow students in mind. BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student Union, THAT: SECTION 1: The following language shall be added to the Legislative Council's Standing Rules: XX. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL AGENDAS The agenda for each Legislative Council session, compiled by the President Pro-T em before each meeting, shall be written in the following order: I. Call to Order and Roll Call II. Amendments to the Minutes III. Approval of the Agenda IV. Open Hearing V. New Business VI. Old Business VII. Special Order VIII. Ratifications IX. Reports X.
