The pre-march rally was attended by approximately 350-400 people. The men's discussion drew in about 15 people and the march itself drew about 300 people, a figure up from last year's 200 people. The rally began at 6:30p, just prior to sunset. The march itself started at 7:15p and ended at the bandshell at approximately 8:45p. The guest speaker at the rally was Patricia Byrne who started CU's first march 12 years ago. Overall, the march was a successful~and-in my opinion--~ beneficial event to the University community and to the community at large. It is indeed a great service to the issue of violence against women and women's subsequent empowerment to continuously support Take Back the Night. T~~~Jo~~ Ca1~ P. Kooros Feminist Alliance
