BILL HISTORY
Will Keirn is a dynamic speaker who has spoken at over 100 campuses nationwide
and is commonly the keynote speaker at national group conventions. He focuses on
ethics and values in American culture, particularly college culture. The contents
of his seminars include: racial issues; gender issues; acquaintance rape & rape;
alcohol and substance abuse; and, fraternity and sorority hazing.
The University of Colorado Greek Council has invited Mr. Keirn to speak to the
students at our university on Saturday, October 28, 1989, and he has accepted. The
pledges of all fraternities and sororities will be required to come to his
presentation through their pledge program. The presentation will be open to the
campus as a whole and prompted through press releases and advertisements.

BILL SUMMARY
This bill allocates $874.50 + GAR from Central Reserve to be applied toward Will
Keirn's honorarium October 28, 1989 at Flatirons Theater.
BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

An amount not to exceed $874.50 + GAR will be allocated
from Legislative Council to partially cover the cost of Will
Keirn's honorium.

SECTION 2:

A written report shall be submitted pursuant to 24 ECB 114.

SECTION 3:

This bill takes effect upon passage.
