A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS:

The 1988-89 Coloradan reflected one individuals bias towards
his university experiences; and,

WHEREAS:

These biases have offended, hurt, humiliated & endangered
student groups on this campus including but not limited to,
the Greek ~ystem, the football players and women; and,

WHEREAS:

The editor and staff have not been forthcoming with a public
apology. THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student
Union, THAT:
SECTION 1:

UCSU recognizes that the Coloradan should not be the medium
for the expression of personal vendettas held by its editor.

SECTION 2:

UCSU recognizes that significant harm to the aforementioned
groups have and may continue to be the result of such
irresponsible editorializing.

SECTION 3:

UCSU recognizes the Greek system's right and endorse their
efforts to boycott the 1988-89 Coloradan by receiving a full
refund.

SECTION 4:

UCSU recommends that all dissatisfied students return their
Coloradan for full compensation.
