TAs, GPTis, GAs, and RAs of the University of Colorado have difficulties affording these types of services. The minimum salary of a TA or RA is $8,684 for the 1990-1991 academic year (9 months) at 50% time. The minimum salary of a GPTI is $10,479 for the 19901991 academic year (9 months) at 50% time. BILL SUMMARY BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative council of the University of Colorado Student Union, THAT: The following referendum question be placed on the November 1990 student ballot: Should the _University of Colorado provide paid employee benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, eyecare or life insurance, comparable to full time University staff, to all teaching assistants, graduate part-time teaching instructors, graduate assistants, and research assistants?
