Resolution History
Chancellor Richard L. Byyny, M.D., has served the University of Colorado as the Chancellor of the Boulder campus for the past eight years. He has served during times of triumph and tribulation, and has done so with much integrity. He has made a constant effort to preserve the honor of this institution, and has done so while remaining genuine and supportive to the student body. The commitment and knowledge of Richard L. Byyny, M.D. has been an invaluable asset to us. The University of Colorado at Boulder student body wishes to honor him with this resolution of appreciation for his service and dedication to the students of this University. His efforts will indeed be lasting.
Resolution Summary
WHEREAS; Chancellor Richard L. Byyny has served the University of Colorado as Chancellor for the Boulder campus for a total of eight academic years, and;
WHEREAS; Chancellor Byyny has worked toward the advancement of this institution and has helped to ensure its honor and future success, and;
WHEREAS; Chancellor Byyny has displayed dedication and commitment to the students throughout his tenure by continuing to listen and support the requests and concerns of the UCSU, and;
WHEREAS; Chancellor Byyny has always shown support for the student union, and has assisted the students with many goals throughout his time at the University of Colorado.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student Union, THAT,
SECTION 1: The students of the University of Colorado at Boulder recognize Chancellor Byyny for his dedication and support of the University of Colorado at Boulder and the students who attend it. We value all the dedication that Chancellor Byyny has given this institution and are grateful for his contribution to our successes. We are confident that he will continue to be successful in his future endeavors and we wish him the best.
