UCSU Student Survey Committee
Bill History
Within UCSU, we try to represent student
interests and preferences, with the primary task being the funding and
oversight of our cost centers. However, we do not have amble information about
these preferences in order to make highly informed decisions come budget time.
In order to rectify this, we should create an Ad Hoc Committee charged with
creating and fielding a high-quality survey to actively reflect campus-wide
student views towards UCSU and the cost centers, particularly their support and
usage for various cost center programs and level of student fees that go
towards the various cost centers. The Committee should create the survey,
decide how to administer the survey, and provide a report on survey results.
They will need to come before Legislative Council in order to request any
necessary funding at such a time as it is necessary.
Bill Summary
This bill forms an Ad Hoc Committee composed
of the Legislative Council President, First Vice President, one Senator and one
Representative-at-Large appointed by the President, the Tri-Executive for
Student Affairs and two Executive Staff members appointed by the Tri-Executive.
THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Council of the University of Colorado Student Union THAT:

separate bill justifying the requested funds.
SECTION 3: This bill takes effect
